From the Nova Scotia mainland
from highway # 104 (Trans Canada Highway), cross onto Cape Breton Island, pass through the rotary to highway #105 towards Baddeck. We are located in the small village of Aberdeen, roughly 6 km out of Whycocomagh towards Baddeck. There is a sign with Bear on the lake Guesthouse on the left side of the road, just past the 54 km green highway marker. Please be careful with the traffic turning onto our long driveway up the hill. Our neighbors are on the bottom of our driveway.
From the Newfoundland Ferry and Sydney
follow highway #105 towards Port Hastings. We are located in between Baddeck and Whycocomagh. Continue past Exit #6 a few more kilometers and you’ll see my sign on the right side of the road. Please be careful with traffic turning onto our long driveway all the way up the hill. Our neighbors are on the bottom of our driveway.

Maritime Buses from Sydney, North Sydney and Halifax can bring you to Whycocomagh. We can pick you up from Whycocomagh for a small fee. Please let us know when you make your reservation.
